ISODISNATURA OM3FLEX 45 CAPSULES (Joints)

OM3flex (45 caps per box) is a dietary supplement with two major constituents, omega-3 and plant extracts. The dual natural action of OM3flex is specifically designed to relieve back pain and sensitive joints.

Numerous scientific studies have described the benefits of omega-3 and plant therapy on persons suffering from back or joint problems.

Instructions for use

OM3flex is only intended for adults. The recommended dose of OM3flex is three capsules per day with one capsule in the morning and two capsules in the evening. This distribution is particularly appropriate for persons with morning stiffness.

In the case of severe discomfort, the dose may be increased to 6 capsules of OM3flex per day with no risks for health.

Suggested administration

The capsules should be taken before a meal, or, for the evening dose, before retiring to bed so that no taste of fish is left in the mouth.

Precautions

OM3flex is a dietary supplement; it contains only natural ingredients and has no adverse effects.

Certain persons may note a slight and temporary increase in intestinal transit.

Omega-3 fatty acids may cause a reduction in platelet aggregation similar that induced by aspirin. Ask your doctor for advice if you suffer blood coagulation disorders or if you are taking anticoagulant treatment as the effects of the products may be potentiated. However, studies have not shown an increase in bleeding time with omega-3 doses of up to 3 g per day (that is 10 capsules of OM3flex).

Possible interactions

The only likely drug interaction of omega-3 is with anticoagulants and possibly aspirin as theoretically it may increase the effects of these agents on the fluidity of blood. You should therefore inform your doctor that you intend to take omega-3 supplements and ask him to adjust the anticoagulant treatment accordingly (generally by reducing the dose of the drug, on the basis of the results of tests of clotting or bleeding times which are generally unchanged).
