Sun constantly emits Ultra-violet rays of 3 types : UVA, UVB and UVC : these rays have different wavelength that penetrate more or less deeply into the skin. UVC rays have no effect on our skin because they are stopped by ozone layer. On the contrary, UVA rays deeply penetrate into the skin and are responsible for premature skin aging and long-term potential skin cancers. UVB rays which affect only the superficial layer of skin and are responsible for sunburns. A good sun protection should contain filters that attenuate the effects of these two types of rays. - It emphasizes the protection against UVA rays.

- It will help to protect skin cells from free-radicals.
