BAYER ADVANTIX ANTI-FLEA/TIC FORMULA FOR VERY LARGE DOGS 25-40 kg 4 x (Anti-flea and tic)

For dogs (male and female), over 8 weeks of age, weighing 25 to 40 kg, or over 40 kg :

- Prevention and treatment of flea infestations (Ctenocephalides felis, Ctenocephalides canis). The fleas present on the dog are killed in the 24 hours following the treatment. A single treatment prevents reinfestations from fleas for 4 weeks. The medicine can be integrated in a treatment plan for Allergic Dermatitis caused by flea bites.

-The product has acaricidal and repellent properties, which last 4 weeks (Rhipicephalus sanguineus, Ixodes ricinus) and 3 weeks (Dermacentor reticulatus) respectively. The tics already present on the dog at the time of the treatment may not be killed during the 2 days following the treatment and may stay stuck on the skin and visible. Therefore, it is recommended to remove the tics which are visible when applying the treatment, in order to avoid them latching onto the skin and feeding off the dog's blood.

- A single treatment ensures a repellent (anti-engorgement) effect for 2 weeks against sand flies (Phlebotomus papatasi) and for 2-4 weeks respectively against (Aedes eagypti and Culex pipiens) mosquitoes.

Usage during gestation/feeding

No embryotoxic, teratogenic effects or effects on reproduction have been found during tests carried out with IMIDACLOPRID on rats and rabbits. Tests carried out on female dogs during gestation and feeding, in contact with their litter, are limited. These tests have shown no negative effects on these animals.

External use (skin application).

Application

Apply liquid onto the skin.

For all applications, spread the coat until the skin is visible:

- for dogs weighing 25-40 kg empty the pipette (a 4 ml dose), in one go, directly on the skin, at the nape of the neck or between the shoulders.

- for dogs weighing over 40 kg, empty 2 x 4ml pipettes on 3 or 4 different areas (nape of the neck, between shoulders, at the base of the tail...).
